Paradise
In Islam, Paradise is referred to as Jannah. It is described as the ultimate reward for believers who faithfully follow the teachings of Islam and lead righteous lives according to Islamic principles. Jannah is a place of eternal bliss, where its inhabitants enjoy the pleasure of being close to Allah, surrounded by gardens, rivers, and all forms of delights beyond human imagination.
The Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, describes Jannah in vivid detail, using imagery to convey its splendor and perfection. It is believed to be a place of reward and rest for those who have passed the tests of life and earned Allah’s favor through their faith, good deeds, and devotion.
Here are a few verses from The Noble Quran that describe Paradise:
“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.” – The Noble Quran Chapter 85 (Surah Al-Buruj): Verse 11)
“And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, ‘This is what we were provided with before.’ And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.” – The Noble Quran 2(Al-Baqarah): Verse 25
“For them will be gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.” – The Noble Quran 18 (Surah Bani Isra’il): Verse 31
“But those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, ‘Peace!’” – The Noble Quran 14 (Surah Ibrahim): Verse 23)
